Biography
Originating from Lodz, Poland, Toxic Bonkers came together in 1993, at which point grindcore shaped their early demos as well as the first two albums, If the Dead Could Talk (1997) and Blindness (1998). Numerous lineup shifts and the tragic death of associate guitarist Konrad Sobierajski preceded a stylistic turn in 2000 toward conventional death metal, evident on later releases such as 2004's Seeds of Cruelty and 2007's Progress. Poland's SelfMadeGod label issued the latter, which presented the lineup of Kuba Ziomkowski (vocals), Rafal Przybylak (guitar), Bartek Wojtysiak (guitar), Szymon Wlodkowski (bass), and Marcin Klimaszewski (drums).
