Biography
Blending alt-country with neo-psychedelia in an unusual and captivating mixture, the Tractor Kings pull together inspirations that extend from Gram Parsons and Bob Dylan across to Chris Knox and Galaxie 500. Jacob Fleischli, serving as singer, songwriter, and guitarist, joined forces with drummer Rebecca Rury to create the duo in Champaign-Urbana, IL, during 1999; their opening release, Sunday Night, came out through the area-based label Mud Records in 2001.
