Biography
Originating in New Hampshire during 2001, the multifaceted metal group Transistor Transistor quickly assembled a dedicated audience along with favorable notices. By 2003 the outfit had shared stages across multiple bills alongside Wolves, Light the Fuse and Run, and Hot Cross. Following extensive routing throughout the United States plus a European excursion in early 2004, the musicians sharpened their execution to the point of preparing a debut full-length. Although prior split releases and EPs had already earned measured regard, the long-player Erase All Name and Likeness elevated their profile, prompting additional road work with Disfear and Converge before the members allowed themselves a brief respite. The ensemble resurfaced in 2008 with the well-received sophomore album Ruined Lives.
