Biography
True to its billing, Travers & Appice unites two classic rock icons: guitarist and vocalist Pat Travers, celebrated for his string of 1970s solo guitar hero records, and drummer Carmine Appice, formerly of Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Rod Stewart, and Ozzy Osbourne. Steamhammer/SPV paired the musicians for the 2004 album It Takes a Lot of Balls, a brashly hard-rocking project recorded with journeyman bassist T.M. Stevens, whose prior credits include James Brown, Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, and many others.
