Triple R

Since the eighties, Richard Riley Reinhold—widely recognized as Triple R or RRR—has played a significant role in Germany's dance music community through his work as a DJ, producer, journalist, and label operator. While championing producers based in his native country, Reinhold extended opportunities to international artists by contributing to the operation of Trapez and Traum. Although numerous German creators issued material on these imprints, full compilations focused on talents from Argentina and Russia. Reinhold himself produces only sporadically, yet he gained recognition as a DJ when Kompakt, a label he supported, issued his mix album Triple R's Friends in 2002. In 2004, he followed with Selection 2, a compilation drawing from Trapez releases.
