Biography

Louisiana native Troy Turner, an up-and-coming guitarist and vocalist steeped in the blues, captures the essence of the "contemporary" artist of the '90s. His performances weave in soul, funk and rock accents yet also unleash commanding, unadulterated blues numbers, while his solos shift between extravagant exhibitions and empathetic, incisive support. ~ Ron Wynn
