Biography
The Argentine Latin rock outfit Trujumán took the stage for its inaugural live appearance on October 4, 1996. Gabriel Ruíz Díaz soon produced the recording sessions for La Gran Mueca del Pueblo, after which the group reached MTV Latino viewers in 1997 via the song “Afónica.” Trujumán brought out the short-story volume Mate Al Suicida in March 2000 and simultaneously began publishing its own periodical, El Angel en el Chiquero. Sensacionales Chicos Muertos appeared the same year and contained the track “Escupe.”
