Biography
Originating from Portland, Oregon, Two Guys comprises the sibling pair of Cameron Jones and Ryan Jones. The younger Cameron handles guitar along with lead vocals, while his elder brother Ryan directs the drumming and handles remaining rhythmic elements. Early 2001 marked the band’s formation in Portland, after the brothers relocated from San Diego, where Cameron had previously played bass for Thingy and served as drummer in Pinback. Once settled in Portland, the two immediately began composing and rehearsing fresh material. Absolutely Kosher Records soon expressed interest and signed Two Guys to the label. Live shows continued steadily through 2002. Their first album, Recorded, appeared in March 2003.
