Biography
Bassist Miguel López teamed up with drummer Charly Pecoretti in 1994 to launch the Argentinean Latin rock foursome Ultimo Deseo, after which guitarists Marcelo Torres and Fernando López rounded out the quartet. The band’s first release, Reflexión, appeared on Animal Records in 1995. The following year Ultimo Deseo encountered GIT’s Alfredo Toth, who handled production on the group’s subsequent self-titled album. Recognition arrived in 1999 with a Best Rock Band prize at La Matanza’s Rockanrolazo contest, after which the band issued Espacio Vivo in 2000.
