Biography
Singer and guitarist Jim Carroll had already cut solo material under the name Unicycle when he assembled the indie pop band Unicycle Loves You in Chicago, Illinois, during the summer of 2006. The project started as a trio that included guitarist and vocalist Jon Pollock plus bassist and vocalist Nicole Vitale. Keyboardist and harmonica player Adam Labrada and drummer J.T. Baker came aboard afterward, enabling the five-piece to stage its first concert in November 2006. After signing with Highwheel Records, the group tracked its self-titled debut album, which appeared on June 10, 2008.
