Biography

Cindy Dall, the San Francisco-born singer and songwriter who balanced part-time work as an office assistant and exotic dancer, fronted the oddly labeled solo outfit Untitled after appearing alongside Bill Callahan in Smog and helping writer Lisa Carver produce the notorious fanzine Rollerderby. Assisted by Callahan and Jim O'Rourke on her first solo sessions, Dall could not settle on a suitable title and therefore applied the name Untitled to her own shadowy, disquieting material, resulting in the self-titled album's release by Drag City in 1996.
