Biography
V, identified by his distinctive smoky baritone voice, works as a South Korean vocalist, performer, and style envoy while holding primary recognition as one of the seven members in the worldwide K-pop group BTS. Kim Tae-hyung, his given name, helped the ensemble top rankings and sell out stadiums globally beginning in the late 2010s. Before launching his own project, he supplied three solo tracks to BTS albums. His formal step into the spotlight arrived in 2023 through the singles "Love Me Again" and "Rainy Days," both drawn from the debut album Layover.
Kim entered the world in Daegu, South Korea, in 1995. He showed musical leanings early by playing saxophone and singing, then entered the trainee system at Big Hit. Selected for BTS, he debuted with the group in 2013. The seven members soon reached extraordinary levels of success, becoming one of the planet’s leading acts within a few years.
