Biography
Vancouver Nights emerged from Vancouver under the direction of Sara Lapsley, who serves as the group's singer, songwriter, and pianist. Their folky indie pop signals a clear break from the riot-grrrl punk that defined Kreviss, Lapsley's prior outfit, while the roster also features guitarist Dan Bejar (likewise of Destroyer), bassist Steve Balogh, and drummer Sean Mrazek. The band's self-titled debut appeared in late 2000 through the Canadian indie label Endearing.
