Further confirmation that vampires exist beyond suburban coffee shops and Anne Rice novels arrives with the three-man assault called Vasaria. From the depths of New York City come bassist and vocalist Baron Joseph, formerly of Sheer Terror, guitarist Chuck Lenihan, also active in Genitortures, and drummer Scott Harris, who together fuse goth, metal, and unfiltered malevolence for alarmed parents and disaffected youths on both sides of the Atlantic. Their 1998 self-titled debut makes peaceful nights after sunset progressively harder to secure while Vasaria continue roaming the streets.
