Victor Krummenacher

Victor Krummenacher helped establish Camper Van Beethoven, the defining college radio act from the 1980s, and later joined the band's offshoot project known as Monks of Doom prior to launching his individual endeavors in 1995 via the album Out in the Heat backed by A Great Laugh. Alongside CVB veteran Jonathan Segel, he established the independent imprint Magnetic, and followed up with his 1998 effort Saint John's Mercy. Throughout the closing years of the decade, Krummenacher sustained joint work with Segel and Eugene Chadbourne under the Camper Van Chadbourne banner while reconciling with David Lowery, which led to occasional get-togethers for Camper Van Beethoven along with a guest spot on the Cracker release Forever. Nocturne came out as his third solo record in 2003.
