Biography
Born to a pair of musicians, Victoria Shaw's childhood unfolded amid the California country-rock sounds of the Eagles and Linda Ronstadt. From an early age she took to singing and crafting songs, joining her sister for local performances across Los Angeles. Those efforts later yielded three country chart-toppers through her songwriting: Garth Brooks' "The River," Doug Stone's "Too Busy Being in Love," and John Michael Montgomery's "I Love the Way You Love Me." Reprise issued her debut album, In Full View, in mid-1995, followed two years later by a self-titled release.
