Biography
Videohippos, a Baltimore duo, craft psychedelic noise pop collages laced with disembodied voices under the leadership of Kevin O'Meare on drums, vocals, and keyboard together with Jim Triplett on guitar, vocals, and keyboard. Their shared history reaches back to the late 1990s, when the pair performed in assorted ensembles that first formed in Washington, D.C. Videohippos formed around 2003, after which their resourceful sound has routinely been presented before a large screen filled with miscellaneous video footage. Monitor Records released the debut album Unbeast the Leash in June 2007.
