Biography
Vince Vance, the country musician, earned his chief renown from the seasonal staple “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” The track first surfaced in 1993 as the title song of his identically named album and kept drawing repeated airplay requests in the years that followed, even while the artist encountered repeated obstacles in building a sustained career. Two further projects arrived with little commercial impact: I Know What It Means to Miss New Orleans in 1996 and Tamale Wagon in 1998. His signature holiday recording nevertheless remains a perennial favorite.
