Biography
In 1993 singer/guitarist Jennifer Olay, formerly of the love-rock band Some Velvet Sidewalk, assembled the Seattle group Violent Green. Their first appearance arrived the next year with the single “You Make Me Wish I Had a Gun,” the inaugural release on the newly founded Up Records imprint. Eros, the band’s debut full-length, surfaced soon afterward, followed in 1996 by their second album, From Cycles of Heat. Hangovers reached listeners in 1998.
