Biography
The acoustic trio Waitin on a Train, based in York, PA, features Tony Staub on mandolin and vocals, Paul Wykowski on guitar and vocals, and Adam Sullivan on bass. Their sound blends Appalachian folk and bluegrass traditions with rhythms and vocal phrasing shaped by modern rock and punk. Every track on the band's debut release, 2006's In the Path of Pain, consisted of original material, revealing a confident command of the idioms being updated.
