Biography
In 1999 the New York City indie rock trio Waker came together after David Allan Sharma connected with Paul Preissner and Jamie Tanner to assemble the lineup. A veteran of the Skalars since 1993, Sharma brought immediate creative momentum that prompted the group to begin rehearsing and performing throughout the East Village. Their debut arrived in early 2001 as a self-titled joint release with the Italian rock outfit Oliver.
