Biography
Originating from Seattle, the four-piece ensemble Walking Papers delivers direct, riff-driven rock & roll. Assembled in 2012, the group unites Missionary Position singer/guitarist Jeff Angell with former Screaming Trees drummer Barrett Martin, Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan, and Missionary Position keyboardist Benjamin Anderson. That same year they issued their debut full-length, the self-titled Walking Papers, which incorporated guest performances by Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready and Mark Lanegan of Screaming Trees and Queens of the Stone Age. Loud & Proud Records released the album, spotlighting the tracks "Leave Me in the Dark" and "Capital T." The band resurfaced in 2018 with WP2.
