HELP(2) arrives as a fresh collaborative album conceived in tribute to the landmark 1995 release HELP. The project unites music lovers behind War Child’s essential efforts to deliver immediate aid, education, specialist mental health support, and protection for children whose lives are disrupted by conflict worldwide. Echoing its predecessor, the new collection underscores the pressing circumstances facing the one in five children globally who experience war today.

Cut in a single day, the original HELP amassed more than £1.2 million, allowing the charity to furnish critical assistance to thousands of children caught in the Bosnian conflict, and was praised by critics as “the best charity album ever made.”

HELP(2) sustains the ethos of that earlier HELP and took shape via an intimate partnership with Abbey Road Studios, with the bulk of recording completed during one remarkable week in November 2025. Acclaimed producer James Ford served as Executive Producer, guiding an extensive roster of participants that includes Anna Calvi, Arctic Monkeys, Arlo Parks, Arooj Aftab, Bat For Lashes, Beabadoobee, Beck, Beth Gibbons, Big Thief, Black Country, New Road, Cameron Winter, Damon Albarn, Depeche Mode, Dove Ellis, Ellie Rowsell, English Teacher, Ezra Collective, Foals, Fontaines D.C., Graham Coxon, Greentea Peng, Grian Chatten, Kae Tempest, King Krule, Nilüfer Yanya, Oasis, Olivia Rodrigo, Pulp, Sampha, The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg and Young Fathers…amongst other musicians, engineers, mixers and producers.

Alongside this formidable assembly of musicians, acclaimed filmmaker Jonathan Glazer and his Academy Films team provided Creative Direction, managing both filming and art direction for the endeavor.

Proceeds from the album go entirely to War Child UK in its mission to protect, educate, and defend the rights of children living amid conflict across the globe.

HELP(2) stands as a beacon of hope for children whose worlds have been shattered by war. It embodies the generosity of artists and the wider music industry in forging a tangible impact toward a safer, brighter future for those children, because no child should be part of war. Ever.
