Biography
Watercolor's charming indie-pop style first took shape in early 2002, when guitarist Joe Pisapia from Joe, Marc's Brother teamed with vocalist Liz Hodder on a side endeavor. Fresh from wrapping his solo European tour, Pisapia discovered the new pairing fit the moment exactly. The pair then self-released their opening album, Beautiful Mistakes, in August 2002.
