Biography
We Shot the Moon emerged in San Diego when Jonathan Jones assembled the project after the dissolution of his earlier group Waking Ashland. He brought in Dan Koch and Joe Greenetz, and the three musicians, still operating as the Honor Roll, uploaded four tracks to MySpace in July 2007. One month afterward they adopted their permanent name and began tracking a debut full-length in the studio. The resulting album, Fear and Love, appeared in April 2008.
