Biography
Self-taught percussionist and Latin music enthusiast Wendell Rivera launched his solo career on June 7, 1996, by issuing the self-produced album No Boundaries after enlisting a skilled ensemble of New York-based musicians. The follow-up release, Portfolio, arrived in 1999 as an Afro-Caribbean and Latin freestyle project that incorporated vocal contributions from singer Yolanda Rivera.
