Biography
Wendy James, having served as frontwoman of Transvision Vamp, chose to strike out on her own. She sent Elvis Costello a letter describing her circumstances and received an unexpected reply in the form of an entire album written expressly for her. Now Ain't the Time for Your Tears was cut with guitarist Neil Taylor, bassist Cass Lewis, and drummer Pete Thomas before appearing in early 1993.
