Biography
Hailing from Leicester in the U.K., White Star Magic draws sonic inspiration from foundational Madchester outfits like Happy Mondays and Primal Scream, as well as Oasis’s signature swagger and the electronic-infused rock approach of Kasabian. Comprising the Duke on vocals, Herman on guitar and synthesizer, CT also handling guitar and synthesizer, Micko on bass, and Conno behind the drums, the group launched U.K. tours in spring 2005 and promptly drew major-label attention. White Star Magic issued the 10-inch Jonny via Electric Circus in September 2005, then followed with the single Casino 21 on Chromium Records the ensuing November.
