Wild Horses

The ensemble known as Wild Horses incorporates Rick Stier and James Kollak, both previously associated with Kingdom Come. John Lesuesque handles lead vocals and bass duties after earlier tenure in an unsigned Boston group named Shout. An offer to provide vocals for a fresh project led by Jeff Pilson of Dokken reached him, yet Pilson instead pointed him toward Stier and Kollak. Every bass line on the outfit’s sole album stems from Pilson’s contributions. Lesuesque’s vocals also surface on Shout’s Self album, issued via the Short Enterprises label.
