Biography
Emerging from the Pacific Northwest, the adaptable and hard-hitting metal trio Wild Throne delivers an ambitious fusion of thrash, progressive rock, and classic melodic NWOBHM that calls to mind Mastodon, Judas Priest, Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age, and Dillinger Escape Plan. The group’s unusually intricate and powerful sound stands out for a three-piece, built around Josh Holland on guitar and vocals, Noah Burns on drums, and Jeff Johnson on bass. After releasing the three-song EP Blood Maker in 2014 on Brutal Panda Records, the band signed with Roadrunner, the prominent hard rock label. Harvest of Darkness, their first studio long player for the imprint, appeared in 2015.
