Biography
An Americana trio rooted in Nashville, Wildeyes fuse vintage folk, country, and gospel strains, frequently charging them with raw rock propulsion.
Around 2012 the married pair Daniel, who supplies vocals, guitar, and dobro, and Emily Kohavi, who contributes vocals, fiddle, and banjo, launched their partnership in Nashville under the name Kohavi. They subsequently joined forces with local multi-instrumentalist neighbor Max Hoffman as Scriptkiddie, issuing several singles in 2017 while performing throughout the region. The ensemble adopted the Wildeyes moniker in 2018 and delivered its first full-length record, Beauty & Sadness, before the year closed.
