Biography
Eaton himself conceives and constructs numerous stringed instruments for his own use, resulting in singular hybrids such as the "koto harp guitar," the double-necked "o'ele 'n strings," and a 26-string guitar. This Phoenix-based performer most frequently collaborates live and in the studio with Native American flutist R. Carlos Nakai. Their partnership yields haunting, richly resonant original works shaped by the landscapes and traditions of the Southwest.
