Biography
Windowpane, a hard rock outfit, got its start in Cumberland, Maryland before relocating to Orlando, Florida in pursuit of a bigger audience. The group headed to Seattle, Washington in 1997, and there in 2000 drew the interest of Brett Eliason, producer for Neil Young and Mad Season, who helmed the band’s 2001 album Push. Their second full-length, The Silence, arrived in 2006. The House of Cards EP surfaced in 2008 and gave way the following year to the album Daybreak. Throughout 2012 the band joined Staind, Shinedown, and Godsmack on the U.S. package tour known as UPROAR while also issuing the album The Silence. Subsequent runs with Five Finger Death Punch and Queensryche paved the way for a self-titled album in 2016, the same year a full-length documentary about the group, There Is No Such Thing as the Record Label Fairy, reached audiences.
