Wolves Like Us craft a distinctive post-hardcore style by blending intensity, tunefulness, and mood. Originating in Oslo, Norway, the group draws from the past work of Hot Water Music and Planes Mistaken for Stars while incorporating a Norwegian-specific roughness, and its lineup includes veterans from Amulet and Infidels Forever. In 2010 Lars Kristensen, Espen Helvig, Jonas Thire, and Toy Kjeldaas united to launch the project, quickly achieving momentum through a deal with Prosthetic Records and joining Swing Kids, the iconic hardcore outfit, for its reunion performances. Their first full-length effort, Late Love, arrived in 2011, marking the year following the band's inception.
