Biography
The band Worm Ouroboros draws its moniker from the legendary serpent that consumes its own tail, representing the eternal cycle of existence. Its lineup features Lorraine Rath, formerly of Amber Asylum and the Gault, handling bass and vocals; Jessica Way, previously with World Eater, on guitar and vocals; and Justin Green, who had been part of both World Eater and Population Reduction, behind the drums. Formed in 2007 within the San Francisco Bay Area, this three-piece ensemble crafted an otherworldly, atmospheric sound that blends elements of progressive rock, psychedelia, ambient textures, and heavy metal on their debut self-titled record, which appeared via Profound Lore in 2009.
