Hailing from New Jersey, Wynne Dillon first stepped into a studio while still a teenager, supplying the voice for a widely played holiday number written by Christian artist Ed Nicholson. Within a few years she had cultivated a distinct pop approach aligned with the sound of contemporaries such as Michelle Branch and Vanessa Carlton. Issued in 2006, soon after she finished high school, her self-titled debut EP contained five original songs plus a version of Don Henley’s “End of the Innocence,” spotlighting her powerful voice and bright, sincere delivery. Once she completed college and settled in New York, Dillon began presenting newer work, offering several acoustic singles through her Bandcamp page.
