X & Hell

From Melbourne, Australia, the electro-rap duo X & Hell, also recognized under the name Weapon X & Ken Hell, maintains an association with the independent label Illusive Sounds. Weapon X, born Xavier Millis and responsible for production, vocals, and songwriting, forms the core alongside Ken Hell, born Daivin Verduci and focused on vocals and songwriting, with turntablist A-Style regularly appearing alongside them during live sets. Their first full-length album arrived in 2005 as Weapon X & Ken Hell via Sneakerpimpin' Ain't Easy, which yielded several singles highlighted by the breakout track "Otherman." Domestic acclaim brought consecutive ARIA Award nominations in the Best Urban Release category, earned in 2005 for "Otherman" and in 2006 for Streetpimpin' Ain't Easy. After issuing various mixtapes, X & Hell delivered their follow-up full-length effort in 2008 with Million Dollar Sex Party, led by the single "Don't Stop Movin'."
