Biography

YC, also known as Yung Chris and distinct from Young Gunz member Young Chris, emerged as a rapper from Decatur, Georgia. His energetic single “Racks,” featured on the mixtape Racks on Racks, marked a breakthrough in 2011. That summer the track rose high on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, setting the stage for a major-label debut album issued through Universal.
