Emerging from San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, singer-songwriter Yng Naz forms part of the cohort of Regional Mexican performers who have refreshed the genre since the mid-2010s, largely through its fusion with urbano sounds and the international profile that followed. He began creating music in his early teens, drawing inspiration from Natanael Cano, Junior H, and Tito Double P. From those foundations he shaped a hybrid approach grounded in corrido traditions yet incorporating hip-hop, electronic music, trap, and Latin R&B, while his lyrics centered on romance, heartbreak, and the hedonistic lifestyle linked to reggaeton alongside repeated affirmations of his roots, family, and neighborhood. His debut single, “D Lv,” arrived in October 2023. Roughly six months later came the first genuine hits, “Sal de Mi Mente” featuring DannyLux and “Yruz” featuring Tony Herrera. Both tracks later appeared on the debut album Nos Fuimos de Casa, which was quickly followed by De Moda at the close of 2024.
