Young Jinsu

Hailing from Rhode Island, Young Jinsu disrupted the teen-rap landscape in 2008. His nickname first arose when he reached the age of five, prompted by his Godfather’s observation that the young Jah-Youth Lopez always dressed sharp as a knife. Over time, however, the aspiring rapper came to believe the name instead referenced his lyrics. After serving as an opening act for Method Man and the Wu-Tang Clan, he signed with Four Kings Productions in 2008. The label issued his debut single that same year, a teen-rap tale of heartbreak titled “Me & You.”
