Biography
Kevron Evans, known professionally as Baltimore MC Young Moose, began uploading tracks to the internet in 2013 before turning 20 and quickly rose to prominence among rappers in his hometown. The bold, unyielding quality of his recordings mirrors the difficult conditions of his upbringing, with repeated allusions to firearms and narcotics sales. Such themes have corresponded to repeated encounters with authorities. Multiple installments in his mixtape series Out the Mud have appeared under that same name, which also identifies the clothing store he operates, though nationwide attention has centered on his 2015 single “Dumb Dumb.” He has worked with Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz.
