During the mid-'80s Glenn Mercer and Bill Million of the Feelies adopted three transparent disguises that also included the Trypes and Willies. Yung Wu issued only a single album, the 1987 release Shore Leave. More rootsy than the duo's earlier angular pop, the record placed recent Feelies recruit and drummer Dave Weckerman in the role of lead vocalist and songwriter while bringing in keyboard player John Baumgartner and the Feelies' rhythm section of bassist Keith DeNunzio and drummer Vinny DeNunzio.
