Biography
Also recognized under the alias "Newest Industry," the Italian experimental rock band Zona Industriale laid down its debut EP during 1993. The five-piece outfit then issued its first full-length album, Ateo Prego, in 1995—the same year a local radio station selected the group as Roman Band of the Year. After Zona Industriale took the stage at the 1997 Prezzo Wave Festival, an appearance that strengthened its following, the act earned the Promising Group designation. Around the same period the band contributed the tracks "Vestito da Guerra" and "Durata" to the various-artists collection Fuori del Mucchio, Rock d' Autore, and likewise supplied "Silenzio" together with "Sole Al Neon" for the release Stacca la Spina.
