Biography
Following the breakup of Al-Dar, the outfit fronted by García Lapido, in the early '80s, the Spanish rock band 091 came together. Their first album, El Cementerio de Automoviles, surfaced in 1984, and Mas de Cien Lobos followed in 1986. The group stood out as one of the major numbers from Granada's rock scene. While playing Macarena on May 17 and 18, 1996, 091 taped a live album that became the final release they put out. That same year, writers Juan Enrique Gómez and Juan Jesús García brought forth a book documenting the band and its lasting impact.
