Biography
Emerging from Finland's Uusimaa region, the humorous dance-pop duo Aamupojat formed in 2007 with vocalists Anssi Honkanen and Renne Korppila at its core. After inking a major-label deal with NRJ, the Universal Music-affiliated imprint, the pair issued its first album, Radiohitit, in 2009. The project registered as a major commercial success, landing in the Top Five of the Finnish albums chart and generating the hit singles "Muuvit"—a Finnish-language version of Reel 2 Real's 1994 international club smash "I Like to Move It"—and "Eurodance," which featured Waldo and Päivi Lepistö, the latter of Movetron.
