Biography
Born in Oklahoma, Ace Moreland works as a blues and rock vocalist, guitarist, and harmonica player. With partial Cherokee roots, he tracked a pair of high-energy albums at Bob Greenlee’s Florida studios. King Snake issued Sizzlin’ Hot in 1990, which showcased Edgar Winter on alto sax, while the 1992 follow-up I’m a Damn Good Time appeared on Ichiban. After Keepin’ a Secret surfaced in 1996, Moreland stayed away from the studio for the balance of the decade before resurfacing in mid-2000 with Give It to Get It.
