Biography
Born in Perth, Adam Brand—an award-winning Australian country performer—grew up in Victoria. He first played drums at age ten, then left home at sixteen to join his uncle traveling and hawking leather belts, only to settle back in Perth a few years afterward and launch a band. The 1998 move to Sydney prompted the release of his self-titled debut on Flying Nun Records. Built for Speed and Get Loud came next, followed by the 2006 arrival of What a Life.
