Ana Cañas

Hailing from São Paulo, MPB vocalist Ana Cañas entered the recording industry through Sony BMG in 2007 by releasing Amor e Caos, which reached the Top 20 on the Brazilian albums chart. A University of São Paulo alumna, she partnered with guitarist and producer Alexandre Fontanetti on the project, whose tracklist incorporates renditions of songs by Bob Dylan ("Rainy Day Woman #12 & 35"), Caetano Veloso ("Coração Vagabundo"), and Jorge Mautner ("Super Mulher").
