Biography
Hailing from Pesaro, Italy, Anna Maria Alberghetti built her career as both a singer and actress, embarking on a European tour at just twelve years old and stepping onto the Carnegie Hall stage for her debut two years later. She entered motion pictures with The Medium in 1950 and completed seven films by the close of 1960. Her Tony Award arrived in 1961 for her work in the Broadway musical Carnival, after which she stepped away from performing.
