Biography
Emerging onto the global stage as a world artist in the early 1990s, Arismar Do Espirito Santo introduced an eclectic guitar-driven sound fused with Brazilian elements. This talented multi-instrumentalist issued his debut solo album in 1993, which promptly garnered the prestigious Premio Sharp Music Award.
Throughout the balance of the decade, Santo joined forces with Leandro Braga, Roberto Sion, Hermeto Pascoal, Banda Mantiqueira, and additional artists. He likewise appeared at numerous jazz and world music festivals around the planet. As of 2002, Santo was applying the final touches to a second solo album.
